As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department of the company, you will guarantee the performance of the Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) system as well as its functional and physical integration.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

• Guarantee the performance of the system by technically defining it, specifying the materials to be supplied and the tests to be conducted,
• Ensure justification of system design and integration into the launcher,
• Carry out dimensioning studies of the components of the flight GNC chain (sensors, actuators, computer),
• Carry out design studies of flight control algorithms (analysis of piloting strategies, verification of the feasibility of a mission with respect to this strategy, algorithmic design),
• Prepare and execute a test plan to qualify models and the system.

Preferred experience and skills

Graduated from a bachelor’s degree in physics or an engineering discipline and you have at least 3 years of experience in GNC in the aerospace or defense industry
You have knowledge of inertial navigation, high-performing control loop and simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent)
Knowledge in embedded software like embedded C/C++ or Ada would be a plus.
Knowledge in parallel computing strategies and Monte Carlo method application would be a plus.
You have a culture on the space domain and basic knowledge in space mechanics.
