Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and industrialize metal additive manufacturing processes.
- Prepare manufacturing jobs, including manufacturability analysis, definition of manufacturing strategies, support structures, and job preparation.
- Produce parts that meet the required specifications using additive manufacturing equipment.
- Carry out post-processing operations, monitor inspections, and support part qualification.
- Perform the necessary tests and prepare reports to ensure production quality.
- Participate in non-conformity analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support for equipment and contribute to its maintenance.
The role has some specific requirements, including:
- Interaction with the production team, other teams within the company, and external partners.
- Potential travel to external partners and/or industrial trade shows and conferences.
- The additive manufacturing process involves the use of fine metal powders, inert gas (argon) for inerting, and isopropyl alcohol for cleaning.
- Handling loads of less than 40 kg.
- Use of PPE (protective clothing, gloves, and supplied-air respiratory protection).
