As part of our strong development and in order to contribute to the evolution of the company, you will be attached to the technical direction of the company as a mechanical engineer.
Your main mission will be to ensure the design, modeling, analysis and validation of the launcher's mechanical systems in collaboration with the other engineers in the propulsion team.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

• Design and develop mechanical systems in accordance with applicable aerospace standards and regulations.
• Perform design analysis including structural, fluid dynamics and thermal simulations to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with other engineers in the department to solve problems and ensure design consistency.
• Perform testing and analysis to validate designs.
• Participate in technical documentation for knowledge transfer to the production team.
• Conduct technical presentations and reports to communicate project results.

Preferred experience and skills

Graduated from an engineering school or a Master in mechanics, you have a significant experience of at least 5 years in the design and development of mechanical systems, ideally in the aerospace or aeronautics field.
You are familiar with modeling and simulation tools and ideally have knowledge of the standards and regulations in force in the aerospace or aeronautics sector.
You have a good command of Python or programming in general. You are comfortable with manufacturing processes, assembly methods and the finite element method, as well as with industrial drawing and analytical mechanics.
You are able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with people of different hierarchical levels and different departments, and you have excellent skills in communicating clearly and synthetically, both orally and in writing, in French and English. You have a strong sense of initiative and are able to make proposals.
Experience in the use of CAD/CAM software is essential. Experience with Siemens NX software would be a plus.
Fluency in English is essential.
