As part of our strong development and in order to contribute to the evolution of the company, you will be attached to the technical direction of the company as a launcher system engineer, integrated into the "System" department.

Your main mission will be to participate in the definition and follow-up of the development of the ZEPHYR launcher subsystems.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

  • Contribute to the definition of thesystem architecture to meet the mission requirements of the system concernedand of the end users.
  • Define the performance specificationsrequired for all the elements of the system, taking into account all theconstraints of the project (technical, costs, risks, planning...)
  • Follow the subsystems from theirdesign to their operational phase (PDR, CDR, QR, QT, QO) by participating inthe studies, the management of technical interfaces, and the qualifications.
  • Participate in the definition andcoordination of tests required for the qualification of subsystems. Write test plans and associatedcompliance matrices.
  • Carry out summaries on technicalpoints concerning the subsystems to ensure a follow-up of the systemconfiguration.
  • Suggest improvements to the systems,processes and tools used.
  • Document and present all work underyour responsibility.
  • You may also be required tocontribute to the operation of systems on which you have worked, during thetesting and qualification phases, and then during the operational phases.

Preferred experience and skills

Graduated from an engineering school or a Master in aerospace, you have a significant experience of at least 5 years in aerospace vehicle systems engineering.

Basic expertise in the various fields that make up a space system is required: electronics, mechanics, fluids, thermics, aerodynamics, etc., preferably complemented by mastery of several other transverse techniques.

A mastery of system engineering tools is necessary: functional modeling, data management, requirements management, etc...

Rigor is an essential component of this position. You also have good communication and collaboration skills with the engineering, testing and production teams, and are able to work in a team in a multidisciplinary environment.
