As part of the Electric and Software System Department, you will be integrated in a project regrouping multiple external partners. In this project, you will develop tools and User Interfaces that interact with a database regrouping multiple types of data (sensor measurements, logs, etc..) coming from multiple sources of our launcher parts (test benches, launcher telemetry, etc..). As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department ofthe company, you will be part of the software team that develops the different embedded software of the launcher, such as the On-Board Computer’s (OBC) software.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

Your mission will include the following tasks:

  • Developing web-based User Interfaces
  • Developing tools that interact with the database (data ingestion / query, data analysis)
  • Manage external development with consulting companies
  • Interact with the industrial partners that participate to the project, establish, and monitor milestones, and ensure the wellbeing of the project
  • Write documentation associated with the code developed and the project in general
  • Ensure the maintenance of the tools developed

Preferred experience and skills

  • You have a good knowledge of at least one front end programming language or framework. Good knowledge of React would be a plus
  • You have a good knowledge of at least one programming language suited for backend development (Python, Java, C#, etc..)
  • You have a strong experience in interacting with web database using REST APIs
  • Your level of English allows you to understand technical documentation and work and exchange with English-speaking interlocutors. Being fluent in French is a plus to easily blend into the existing team.
  • You are autonomous but also have a strong team spirit.
  • You are able to manage and being responsible for a project.
