You have ideally completed an initial qualification such as:

• BTS Services Informatiques aux Organisations (SIO) or equivalent.
• BTS Cybersécurité, Informatique et Réseaux, Électronique (CIEL) or equivalent.
• BUT in Computer Science.
• An equivalent qualification in IT, systems, networks or software development.

You are currently pursuing a work-study degree at Bachelor’s to Master’s level (Bac+3 to Bac+5), with a focus or specialization in:

• Artificial Intelligence.
• Data or Data Science.
• Machine Learning.

• Information Systems with a specialization in AI.
• An equivalent field of study.

Previous professional experience gained through a work-study program or a significant internship would be highly appreciated.

Technical skills

You have knowledge of several of the following areas:

• Microsoft 365, networking and basic cybersecurity principles.
• Python, REST APIs, SQL, databases and Git.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up test stands for high-thrust rocket engines. You will ensure the development and management of test procedures, and you will conduct rigorous testing to validate the engines' performance, reliability, and safety. Fluid Engineer (f/m/d)

The Fluid department is responsible for the development the launcher's board fluid systems as well as ground and test facilities fluid systems.

In particular, the fluid department is responsible for:

-Designing the fluid systems in terms of functional needs, system architecture and choice of fluids for all the company fluids’ systems (launcher, ground, and test facilities)

-Choosing the appropriate components to realize the chosen functions

-Modelling the behavior of the system to validate the design

-Defining how the system needs to be operated- Guarantee the safety and reliability of the designed system

-Analyze test results to make sure the system responded as designed

-Optimize built systems to gain in reliability and efficiency

Responsibilities

As Fluid Systems Engineer you will participate in several tasks around fluidic simulation, testing and integration of both ground and on-board equipment. To test all elements of the engine, multiple test benches will be integrated before the end of this year. After which, both stages will need to be integrated and tested as well. The test results will need to be analyzed to see how the system responded in real life conditions.

Tasks & missions

Your main missions will consist in :

· Own critical space or ground-support hardware

· Design and develop fluid and mechanical systems for use on ground support or on the launch vehicle

· Cradle-to-grave ownership of hardware, starting with system architecture, through design and analysis, and ending with integration, testing, and launch.

· Ownership of production and procurement processes relating to Fluid systems

· Apply your well-rounded technical knowledge to demonstrate competent fluidic and structural sizing, routing, and design while considering cost and schedule constraints

Preferred experience & skills

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline

· 2+ years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering or a similarly demanding industry

· 2+ years of hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, and/or testing

· 2+ years of experience with CAD designing parts/assemblies

Proficiency in basic principles of structural mechanics, incompressible and compressible flow, thermodynamics, and materials

· Knowledge of fluidic components including valves, regulators, etc.

· Full engineering design lifecycle experience

· Professional experience using Siemens NX (preferred) or comparable CAD package

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well in a collaborative team, including daily interactions with technicians, engineers, and managers

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Fluid Engineer Intern (f/m/d)

The Fluids team at Latitude develops the fluidic ground-side and vehicle-side systems for the launch vehicle. Sub-disciplines within the team include valves, fluidic routing, pressure-control systems, and liquid level sensing systems among others.

These are precise systems posing difficult challenges to overcome, as they deal with the highest pressures and lowest temperatures seen on the entire vehicle. We are looking for motivated candidates that are self-driven and hands-on to join the team as an intern to help us solve these challenges.

In return, you will develop your technical skills and work alongside talented engineers that will be able to guide you toward the next step in your career, both technically and professionally.

Tasks & missions

The intern’s duties will include: Developing fluidic routing for the first and upper stages of the launch vehicle, including design, analysis, material selection, drafting, and assistance with manufacturing and testing.
Write qualification and acceptance plans for vehicle valve components. Assist and, ultimately, lead the execution of these test plans, including pressure testing, cryogenic testing, and vibration testing.
Design custom valves for the vehicle. This project will include the design of different types of valves (electromagnetic, pneumatic, etc.) for use in various rocket systems. The project involves a comprehensive approach to valve design, with a high degree of autonomy but under the supervision of experts in the field.

Preferred experience & skills

Education: Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.

Technical skills:

    • Good engineering fundamentals.
    • A strong basis in mechanical and fluidic engineering.

The electrical assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of a space launcher refers to all procedures and tests dedicated to validating the launcher's electrical and electronic systems. This critical phase includes wiring assembly, integration of electrical equipment (such as actuators and sensors), and functional and environmental testing to ensure reliability and compliance with mission requirements.

Tasks & missions

The intern’s duties will be :

  • Draft Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) procedures for the embedded electronics subassemblies within the EPSILON project.
  • Develop automated test procedures using the Syclone test platform.
  • Implement the measurement acquisition system using the Beckhoff automation ecosystem (HMI development, card selection, wiring, etc.).
  • Contribute to post-processing activities and the analysis of test results.
  • Participate in the design of integration and validation test benches for electronic equipment.

The intern will learn about AIT electrical and electronic processes in the aerospace and Newspace sectors.

Engineering student :
